It was the 4th ODI match between West Indies vs South Africa. The match has nothing left for the Series because South Africa team already won the Series. The home team won the toss and chooses to bat first. The West Indies team first time in the tournament got to a good start. Their openers Chris Gayle and DM Richards added up to 50 runs for the first wicket in power in first ten over. The Captain was failed to play a big inning and got out after scoring 29 runs in 28 balls. It was the price wicket for the South Africa team. After that Chanderpaul and Richards carried the momentum and took the West Indies score up to 100 runs in 21 overs. The West Indies team in this match was going strong. Chanderpaul and Richards hits consecutive half centuries for the West Indies team. Richards departs after scoring 59 runs in 73 balls. The total West Indies team score was 115 runs in 23 over. The experienced Chanderpaul holding the one end and the other batsmen attacked at the bowling of South Africa. There is couple of good knock from Bravo Brothers and Kieron Pollard. The West Indies team was leading towards a big score. In the end with some fine batting performance The West Indies put up a huge total of 303 runs in 50 overs.

It was a big askfor the South Africa team to chase down a huge total. The South Africa team batsmen had a tough work on their shoulders.  The opener captain Greame Smith and Hahim Amla gave a strong reply to the West Indies team. They added 50 runs in very quick time. Greame smith was departed after playing a knock of 23 runs in 29 balls. After that Amla and Kallis Carried their good start and scored some quick runs. Both the players showed impressive batting and destroyed the line length of West Indies bowler. Hashim Amla scored another half Century to his name. The partnership of these two batsmen set the tone of South Africa team. Kallis carried his good run in the tournament and got to another half century of his career. Kallis was out at the bowling of Gayle in the 30 over.  After that Ab de villiers and Amla played well they get things going for the south Africa team. The South Africa team easily scored runs at the bowling of West Indies. Hashim Amla was the key man for the South Africa team as he scored his second Century of this Series. He stroked some lusty blows but in a attempt of increasing the scoring rate he was out at the bowling of Pollard after playing a match winning knock of 129 runs in 115 balls. After the wicket of Amla, It was very late for the West Indies. The South Afirca team needed few runs for their 4th victory of the Series. AB de Villiers and Dumminy stroked the winning shorts and provide South Africa their fourth Victory in a row. The South Africa team won By 7 wickets.

Today was the match between India vs Sri Lanka 2nd ODI match of the Micro Max Cup. Both the teams were well prepaid for the Victory. The team India won the toss as they choose to field first. The Sri Lankan Captain Dilshan and Tharanga started the innings of Sri Lanka. Tharanga not able to utilize the opportunity and got run out at the brilliant fielding of Kohli. Only few runs added in the Sri Lankan total Samarveera was the second man was back to the pavilion at the bowling of Ojha. The Sri Lanka team total score was 39 runs at the loss of 2 wickets.  After that Dilshan and Methews contributed useful runs for the team and got Sri Lanka back on to platform. Dilshan was the dominating partner. The partnership was looked dangerous for team India. After a good start by Dilshan a miss understanding between the two Sri Lankan players coasted Dilshan wicket, he was run out after scoring 61 runs in 84 balls. It was the turning point of the match after that the young Sri Lankan players was failed to score runs at the bowling of Indian spinners. The Sri Lankan team with the help of Methew 75 runs and Perera quick innings of 32 runs put a fighting total of 242 runs in 50 over.

The Indian team pleased with their bowling performance. They restricted Sri Lankan to a low score. The start was not a good one for the India team. Their openers failed second time in the Series and departs in first 6 over. Dinesh Karthik scored 18 runs in 26 balls and Murli vijay got 14 runs in 20 balls. After a bad start the pressure was on to the Indian side. The total team score of India was 47 runs at the loss of 2 wickets in 7 over.  It was Rohit Sharma and Virat kohli. wrote the story of Victory with their impressive batting show. Both the players took the singles in the first 25 over and getting closer to the Sri Lankan total. Both the players use the condition of slow wicket very well. In between Rohit Sharma reaches to his second fifty. The Sri Lankan bowlers was not finding right rhythm in this match. The partnership of Rohit Sharma and Virat kohli took  the match away from the Sri Lanka. The Virat Kohli was falling short from another Century and got out after scoring 82 runs in 92 balls. It was Rohit Sharma who carried the momentum for the team India. He got his Second Century of the Series and take India to their first Victory of the tournament.

After a shocking defeat with Zimbabwe at Friday team India takes on Sri Lanka in their 2nd ODI match at the  Queens Sports Club Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Both the teams is testing their young players in this tournament and rested their regular players.

India got a poor opening in their first match against Zimbabwe facing a shameless loss by 6 wickets. The Indian team young peace battery was failed in the first match now they have to prove their skills in the 2nd ODI match. The young brigade had to work on their short selection. The team Captain raina had to learn from their past mistake. The Sri Lanka team also introducing a fresh side for this match, team India had to utilize it.
