Pakistan Test Captain Salman Butt and the Pakistan Peace Man Mohammad Aamir and Asif will face possible life bans after there recent issues of match fixing.

The ICC said in a statement the trio had been provisionally suspended from all forms of cricket and related activities until the case was concluded. They have 14 days from the receipt of the charges to appeal to an independent tribunal.

“We must be decisive with such matters and if proven these offences carry serious penalties up to a life ban,” ICC chief executive Haroon Lorgat said.

The England team Captain said we are not playing with that nation who included match fixer in their team. The Three players are out of ODI Series against England. If they are guilty then they should be punished,” Beenish Faridi told Reuters. “But these are allegations only and you can’t blame the whole team. The whole team is suffering because of this.

Aug 24, 2010 : It was the 6th ODI match between India vs New Zealand at Dambulla cricket stadium in Sri Lanka. Both the teams in a must win situation. Team India won the toss and they decided to bat first on a bowling friendly wicket. The start was not a good for the the India. The indian team top order collapsed in the start of the match as Karthik, Kohli and yuvraj singh was back to the pavilion in the early over. The team India total score was 61 runs at the loss of 3 wickets. After that a big responsibility on the shoulder of Virendar Sehwag who looked in good touch and scoring runs for team India at a good rate. The youngster Suresh Raina was not able to score run and got out after scoring just 1 run. The New Zealand team bowlers were getting wickets at regular intervals. It was Captain Dhoni who along with Sehwag added some useful runs in the total of team India. In between Virendar Sehwag scored another half century and get things going for team India. The Partnership of Dhoni and Sehwag back team India on track they added over 100 runs for the 5th wickets. Virendar Sehwag after a brilliant century not able to stay at the crease and got out at the bowling of McCullum. After the wicket of Sehwag team India lower order lost their way and got out in very quick session. New Zealand team finally restricted team India to 223 runs in 50 over.

The New Zealand team had to chase a small total but their batting order is not in good touch. BJ Watling and MJ Guptill started the run chase for team New Zealand but not able to get their team a good start as Watling Guptill and Tylor went back to the pavilion in hurry.
